Need guidance about water tank on Crest pontoon houseboat

I hooked the water hose to the boat and I can hear the water entering a tank. When I try to use the cold water lever in the sinks, no water comes out...but the hot water lever allows water flow. Also, the commode will flush.
Need advise, please.

Is the rig new to you? Seems someone has been messing with the plumbing.

Is there a cold water shut-off valve under the cabinet?

New to me. When I first hooked the water to the boat, both cold levers in bath and kitchen worked. But, the next day it quit.

Also check around the water heater for closed valves in the cold supply lines.

Look for filters in the lines. I've seen them so plugged up water can't flow. Usually there is one before the pump, sometimes there is a bigger one somewhere in the system for the drinking water side. And possibly a check valve someplace?

Thank you very much...I will explore this afternoon.

See if your water pump is turned on. You should have a separate water pump. Your water pump is more than likely 12v.

My switch is located at the kitchen sink.

Your hot water tank will flow until it is empty.

If your commode is manual you don't need the pump to work it, but you will need to make sure the petcock is open.

You need to replace that mess with some pex plumbing. Looks like some of that is garden hose. Not designed for drinking water or permanent installations. Also that wire nut is a no-no. Abyc standards don't allow them on boats. They can vibrate loose and cause a short, and are not water resistant. Still I'm glad you found the main issue...

I'm afraid I gave you some bum advice. I thought you were referring to boat water pressure, not shore water. Need to check Grub54891 advice. Your plumbing looks kind of nasty with all that garden hose.
