Need engine help

I just bought a 2001 bass buggy pontoon with a 50hp 2cyl mercury outboard. The guy i bought it from had it sittin in a slip for a year in lake conroe. I have been takin it out and it idles a lil rough and missis some. I get it goin and does ok. Today it started doin crapy. Does fine at half idle but when i go full throttle, it doesnt getter done. I bring down throttle slowly and then it kicks in like it wants to go, but doesnt. This what i have done so far.(new to boats) changed fuel lines, spark plugs, added oil in both motor and lower unit. Emptied old gas and put new with some seafoam. Sprayed air intakes with carb cleaner. No better. Need advice. Pretty sure its carbs and jets, but not sure. Think i will take to shop before i spend anymore money diagnosing it myself. Any suggestions please

check compression and clean the carbs there could be water or some dirt and then the fuel pump and filter good luck

Handyman, thanks for input. Im pretty sure the 3 carbs need to be takin apart and cleaned good. There are hardly any hrs on this engine. Bought it from some nice old timers that hardly used it. I think definitly the carbs are the problem, but what about the oil to gas ratio? It self injects, do you think the timing or mixture could be of? Also, if one or more of my cylinders have bad compression, what does that intell as far as fixin? Thanks for the input bud.
