I have a 65 Mercury outboard, serial #4047433 and I am in need of a distributor. The brush from the distributor cap came loose and wiped out my little wheel that has windows in it and am told can not buy new.

ebay had two last week. try a search using "merc ignition" and "mercury ignition".<br />I know, because I've been monkeying with a 1966 Merc65HP with the magneto ignition, and am lookin for a points/condensor for it, and saw the other type (optical breakerless) in there.
