need choke help

I have a mercury 150 black max. The ignition switch has a push in choke. I push it in it does nothing. I tryed to find the solenoid on the motor but dont see it. Where is it located, close to starter solenoid? I need to buy a manual.

its on the front left side of the engine .... yes books help !

Does it look like the starter solenoid

It should be front left side. There should be a hose from the top carb to the solenoid, and hoses from the solenid to the other carbs. The black button on top is manual opration.

Thanks for the help I found it. Its all wired up just dont work from the switch.Havnt tryed manually yet
