need carb help

1986 mariner 3 cyl with 2 carbs 60 horse.throtle has to be wide open to start motor and u have to work the throtle to keep it running.will not idle.please help.

Pump some gas out of the tank with the primer bulb and make sure there is NO water in it !

If no water take carbs off and clean.

i cleaned the carbs and put new feul in it and it didn't help anything.do these motors have reedvalves?

Yes, reed valves, do a compression test. Pump the ball while running and if it runs better rebuild fuel pump.
