Need Advice on Saturn Inflatable Boat

Looking to use a 25hp outboard motor and looking for the right inflatable boat that can survive 3 to 4 foot waves. Found this company Saturn and want to find anyone that has ever bought a Saturn inflatable boat online? Any advice on its quality?

Welcome to Iboats,

If you're going to jump waves as a recreational purpose often, better is a same size rib. Take into account that wooden, or alum panel floarboards and transom takes too much stress while jumping, much worst if tubes are poorly inflated. There are some sibberss here who have experimented breaking and bending side rails and lateral side joiners doing so.

These parts are sometimes NA or hard to find as usually dealers don't sell these as spares or comes along complete floorboard kit. BTW, a 25 HP engine is a heavy one, worst if being a 4 strokes. Your choice if still wanting a sib for wave jumping...

I've had my 14' Saturn in waves bigger than that and it handles them perfectly fine. As Sea Rider explains, you cannot "jump" waves as this will quickly destroy your boat. A 25hp motor would be perfect for their 14 to 15' model. I don't like the 16' boat they offer because it is narrower and has smaller diameter tubes. The 14' is a very seaworthy boat.

You can jump waves with no tech issues sometimes, but not constantly or you will end bending/breaking alum floor parts. If going for a 15" Saturn for exprofeso wave jumping, the worst. With waves will experiment severe hinge effect where both side joiner meets mainly due to not being a one large side joiner piece, but rather 2 smaller ones. Will ende bending and breaking z rail, which is the small inner rail that holds all small slats together in place. No tech issues If the large boat will be used for recreationale purposes. Just infflate well all air chambers to it's factory recommended pressure and if possible with a gauge.

Get yourself a thundercat ... it was built to jump waves ....
