Need advice on new prop for 1976 55HP Johnson

i am a super noob. i know nothing. all i know is that i need a new prop for my 1976 55HP Johnson Seahorse OB. i have 14.5' open tri-hull with approx 800-900lbs. approximate average weight of people/gear is 600lbs. average total weight would be 1400-1500lbs.

what size prop?
what pitch?


i don't know any RPMs or anything.

please help me. thank you in advanced!

If you can't give us the rpm's then you will need to find a user with the exact same setup as yours and ask them what prop they're using. I would suggest replacing your old prop with one the same size without any additional details. You can find the pitch stamped on the prop usually inside on the ring used for mounting.
