Re: need a liittle more speed, what pitch?
Pitsteal,
Before any of the guys on here will beable to tell you what would work for you, they will need to know these things:

1) The pitch of the prop that you are running now. I was able to find this on the inside hub of my prop. You might have to take the prop off to get this, but without it you really won't have a clue what is needed for your boat.

2) Once you figure out #1 you will need to also tell them the speed that the boat is running currently with this prop on it. And at this speed you will need to tell them what the RPM's are at. So if you don't have a Tach, you will need to install one on the boat before you play with the prop.

Trust me I went through this last year and ended up going with the same size prop, just used Turning Point Hustler Aluminum instead of the Michigan wheel prop that was installed on the boat. This actually made about 5mph difference on my boat and gave me all the grip in the world in turns, where it used to cavitate on me.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Bryan Cox
