hi , i need a flywheel puller for a 1960 evinrude 40hp. anyone know which part will work from the automotive aftermarket or where to get one?

I think you can get the universal puller from an OMC dealer. some 50.00 I have heard. They can tell you what part number works for your engine. Good luck

Pretty much any universal dampner pulley puller will work. OTC makes a good one...

Go to your local Johnson or Evinrude dealer.<br /> <br />I also have a 1960 40 hp Evinrude (Lark). Was able to order the correct puller from my local dealer two years ago. Not cheap, but the right one.
