How many nationalities do you claim and how many passports of different countries do you have?If you have more than one ,how did you get them?
I sometimes wonder if having three is very exceptional.

Re: nationality

One, citizen of the USA, bred and born here.
Passport expired a couple years ago.
Don't plan on replacing it unless I start going to Canada again.
Other than that, I don't plan on leaving.

So you have 3 passports?
Is your name "the jackal"?

Re: nationality

I claim one nationality, American, born and bred in the USA.
No passport. I haven't had the need for one yet. I'm still trying to see all the wonders of my home country. So much to see, so little time!
Bassy

Re: nationality

Nationality? I dunno, really. I was adopted when I was 5 days old, so I guess I can claim them all! :)

Only have one passport that was recently used for the first time.

Born a Kiwi, became an Aussie Citizen about 12yrs back.
Had 2 passports at the start, and could have kept 2, but no point, so just have an Aussie.
One child was born in a Brit Hospital in Singapore, with a mother who had a Brit (Scot actually) passport. His papers came up as
Brit subject
Singaporean national
New Zealand resident.

Changed it smartly though, as he was liable for call up to the Singaporean Army at 18yrs, so he went on to his mothers passport. As an adult his Kiwi passport has some form of stamp in it allowing him residence in UK or any European Community Country. He just fell in to a quirk-of-the-times.
His big sister is a Kiwi, his youngest brother an Aussie.
Cheers
Phillip

Re: nationality

Born in South Dakota, lived in Minnesota except for my military exp. Have been told I have german, slovak, russian and maybe a little french. No passport(my under 18 yr. old son is going to mexico to help build a house for the poor(thru the lutheran church, wifes idea not mine) so he has one but for me? Been called a liberal, tree hugger etc. but guess what.
I consider myself a Citizen of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Not an american as everybody from canada down to the tip of south america is an american. Have no reason to get a passport unless I am made too because of the present situation. I own guns but do not think every moron should be able to have one. I vote for whoever I think is the best(not just because I am a Dem., Rep, Ind, etc. I trust no politician, buisnessman, rich or poor. I expecially don't trust anyone who waves the flag and exhorts stupidity.
Having three? Why?????? Apparenty it is easier to get in or out of here without one if you really want to! And if you are here illegally you will soon be able to get a become citizen free card pretty soon.

Re: nationality

My dad was dutch,he married a US Army nurse in late 1945 and he joined the US Airforce in 1946.I am a subject of the dutch crown by birthright,a US citizen by birthright and an israeli citizen because I served in that army.I decided to hold on to all three nationalities, because I have emotional ties to these three countries and it came in real handy for my daughter who moved first to Israel and now lives in London. My kids can work legally in the European Union and the USA.

Re: nationality

I have three official nationalities although Australia is my permanent home.

Italian (bloodline), English (born), Aussie (applied). I am able to get passports in all three although I only have an Aussie passport.

The Italian consulate still send me letters asking me to 'come in for an interview' regarding national service.

Aldo

Passports are not required, however, you will need to show your NRA membership card and at least one NASCAR or WWF ticket stub at all checkpoints.

spots (All American)
