Some harsh penalties for a little piece of tape. Was it scotch tape, or where they drinking scotch?????

Agreed on the pictures ... but then again, NASCAR has NEVER been consistent in meting out penalties. Could have been a major tape job, or it could have been the way the wind was blowing ...

I know what tape it was, it was the yellow colored tape that they put on the spoiler and splitter denoting the chase drivers in these last 10 races, somebody pushed down the top of that tape after inspection, creating a small air dam on to top edge of the rear spoiler and what they showed yesterday on race hub, Alan was attempting to push it back up and flatten before they went through inspection again.

So it's Nascar tape and Nascar should be responsible for it not sticking.

Saw a video and 3 or 4 crews members were stoking the spoiler. :noidea: Still pretty picky.
