I would rather have Ku. Busch win instead of Keso. :blue:

QC wins FL three weeks in a row!

Throw a debris caution with just over a lap to go? Better have been a fender laying out there, that's pathetic. Listening on radio. 2nd debris caution was legit..

Yeah man, that was weak. I know I'm being an echo of myself but I REALLY. HATE. G-W-C.That is all.

Yeah, Keso only led one lap - The important one. Harvick equaled his worst finish of the year.

So, uh, I'm the only one here who hates GWC? Guys, that is not how auto racing is done, especially when they use an obviously bogus yellow to set it up.

Bogus is way understated for that 1st debris caution. Not that I minded KB Sr losing.......... He was walking away with it. NASCAR will keep screwy things up until the majority of the people stop watching...

I don't know Wim, those grandstands were sold out today.

That's what Harvick was talking about having two races at a track. Fontana had one race in 1997-2003 and had to add seating to accommodate the crowds. Then they had two races from 2004 to 2010 and each year attendance declined, too much of a good thing, I guess. Since 2011, after returning to one race per year, attendance has increased. But Nascar can squish that easily. For example, who in their right mind would schedule a race in Atlanta on March 1st? So many tracks are removing seats or reducing seating capacity to look fuller than they are or raise prices to make up for the lost revenue, Here's the article - http://www.sportingnews.com/nascar/...-speedway-one-race-comments-sprint-cup-nascar

One more thing - Nascar is cutting purses for Cup races and adding to XFINITY and Truck race purses. Granted it's not a lot, but the independent, small teams are getting squeezed. Are they trying to push out the small single car teams? Is Nascar turning into the freak show called Formula One. From Jayski's - http://www.jayski.com/cupnews.htm#20150321a

I believe both at 'Dega and Daytona they took out the back stretch stands. 'Dega for sure. It was the Allison grandstand... I've seen other tracks where they put huge banners over sections of seats...

There is a lot of reasons attendance goes down, heck how many channels and hours of racing do we have a weekend now and on how many devices! Also, the races as I mentioned yesterday, are becoming very generic, losts of commonality between Xfinity and Sprint cup these days.

I thought it was an interesting race until the last 2 caution flags. Also think the best car didn't win.

How about another rule change? If they are going to finish the race with G-W-C then how about everyone must pit?

Bad Brad was running on 4 new(er) tires. He did have the best car at that time. He wouldn't have won without the second caution which was legit.

Maybe Nascar wanted to find a way for KB Sr not to win. Looked like they could have tossed another yellow out there for Hamlin's spin.

I found their explanation of the debris caution interesting ... We had multiple reports from drivers, we confirmed it was a piece of metal, and before we could call the caution someone hit it. We are not sure what it was, or who hit it, but it was because of safety reasons that we called it. We had over 100 years of NASCAR experience in the tower, we were not playing favorites, it was because of safety that it was called, but they haven't brought the piece of debris to us yet. But it was confirmed debris on the racing groove. ...

Sounded like someone was protesting too much ...

Yeah ^^^^^^ they musta read this thread. Seems like it would be easier to join and post though. One bummer about the infield is you can't see restarts. The pit road suites block the whole front stretch. When Brad came down the backstretch in front we couldn't believe it.

Closing out the Fontana race - QC's home race and home away from home once a year. :D We have a 3-peat! QC gets the triple :first:. This is the third week in a row he is awarded the hardware and is still atop the overall FL standings. Congrats QC - But what happened to parity? LOL
