So you just fessed up!.

We need to call a meeting to discuss this grievous rule violation. A points deduction is in order. What do you say, fellow FL'ers?

I think he should be docked 373 points (if my math is correct)!

Just got home from church in time to see Shrubby cross the finish line. I was really rooting for Harvick or Truex over the Twit, but I will take the points.

Congrats on the win, Cowboy ... but confess, did you throw the bones on the track for the last debris caution?

At least 374, you know how Nascar does 'rithmetic. LOL

NBCSN had the Shrub interview. Had to go to football.

Nope...I had nuttin to do with the debris...it was under the flagmans stand...I think the flagman dropped it because he had his money on someone other than the leader when he threw the flag...

I think you're right, FC. He's getting points docked too.

I don't know, since Kyle's accident back in Feb, I have seen a different type of personality, than he ever showed in the past, just like many of the other drivers I have watch over the years, when Gordon came on the scene, nobody liked him and today everybody cheered him, I think the next bad boy is going to be Lagono, showing good skills, great team behind him and making the old timers mad, so he is going to be the bad guy for a while, then when you look at the Dillion brothers, watch out, their egos and attitudes are way above their current station in life, so they are probably going to be booed quite a bit over the years.

It is an ever changing game that the drivers play these days.

I agree with MT. Kyle earned his spot after his recovery period (and some adjustment of the rules).

Congrats to him. I think any of the four finalist would have made a good champion. Each had a story and earned their spot for the championship run.

Congrats to FC also. No bones about it, he picked well, week in and out.

speck also did well keeping QC and me in his mirror.

Fun times and great reporting Humpty. Let's do it again next year.

not a kyle fan but like him much more this year than in years past. oddly i started liking and rooting for kurt this year though. i think logano and brad will be the bad boys of the next few years. i like brad but don't care much for logano. larson may be the next gordon type villian if he starts winning. he is the quiet polite type like jeff. if he starts winning i think he will hear alot of boos. although i think a big reason people didn't like gordon was the he stole alot of earnhardts thunder

I don't think the young guys coming up will have the same adverse reaction as Gordon got. Nascar has no Dale Earnhardt driving and I doubt if they ever will again.

I've read that Dale and Jeff played that whole thing to the hilt because it was good for business. It was choice when Gordon won his 1st championship and toasted Earnhardt with milk at the awards banquet after being called Wonderboy by Dale as Jeff closed in on earning the youngest champion title.

NASCAR and the Drivers are the best salesmen in the world, they play every single element to the max, I know over the years I have taken many sales courses and they always key in on NASCAR as one of the best promotional organizations out there, we will continue to see the public manipulated in ways that always benefit NASCAR, just look at the way Jeff's retirement was promoted and blown up over the season, by the end yesterday, you would have thought he was a god and walked on water! LOL Not to diminish what he has accomplished, but you can bet a lot of people made a lot of money because of him.

It will be interesting to see how things will be played next season for Stewart, another one of the bad boys of racing when he started in Winston Cup!

(I still like "Winston Cup" so much more than "Sprint" Cup!)

It rankles me when saying Petty or the other founding member won Sprint Cup races and championships. Same with Busch before Nationwide. Nextel was short lived before Sprint bought the brand, so I don't have a problem with the lack of Nextel Cups. But Winston and Busch are part of the formative years of the huge business Nascar has become.

Regarding all those promos of Gordon - I didn't see any of the low-lights. Like the Gordon-Bowyer dust up. Maybe I missed it.

During this last season, I really didn't see anything bad wrote or broadcast about Gordon, they played the audience for everything they could get out of it, and Jeff has more than his fare share of dust ups over the years! However during one of the FOX broadcasts, I do remember them showing Clint running to get to Jeff and them pulling each other off, I think that was at Phoenix last year..

i still call it the busch series and cup series.

jeff gordon did some amazing things but lets face it, without everham on the pit box and hendrick paying the bills, how good would he have been? hard to say. same with JJ and chad knaus. they were like PB&J. one wasn't as good without the other. hate to say it but when you have kyle busch winning races consistently with every crew chief he has had, which is more impressive? or truex getting to homestead with an underfunded team that has to work twice as hard (and drive twice as far) and get equal results? hard to compare apples to oranges but i'm more impressed with those that do more with less

More like pulling Clint off Jeff. Who did Jeff try to dust up while still wearing his helmet? Maybe he's a Danica wannabe. Heck, Danica could probably take him out.... Nothing against Jeff, of course...... :)

Well lets face it, they are all doing something we would love to do, but never made it, we were all NASCAR drivers at one time or another in a past life!

:D
