Weekend Recap;

Erik Jones won the Camping World Truck race Friday evening and he is the points leader with two races left. Will we see another rookie win a series Championship, as Chase Elliott did last year in Nationwide?

In yesterdays X-Men race, Keso took the checkers. The closest real X-Man was Ty Dillon in 5th. Chris Buescher is the Points leader with a 24 point lead over Elliott and 30 over Ty Dillon. X-Men also have 2 races to go. All three series run at Phoenix and wrap up with Homestead.

Our Cup Pole sitter is Keso. Erik Jones will be starting in the third row, right behind Logano in the second row. Maybe today Joey will spin his tires at the green flag and Erik will accidentally push Logano aside. Jones is slated to move up to run full-time in the X-Men series next year for Joe Gibbs.

Gase and Sorenson didn't make the cut in qualifying.

Three Gibbs cars had splitters confiscated by Nascar during the pre-race inspection this morning. This is third time this year splitters had to changed before a race and in the two times prior, no penalties.. Why is Nascar having such trouble? It seems the measuring tool is busted!

Keso back in front for the restart after pit stops. Hamlin in the garage with fuel pressure woes.

3rd caution for Harvick losing a tire. He's is really slowing down so the tire doesn't shred and tear the car up.

4th green flag. Keso and Busch18 are see-sawing for the lead. Logano is 33 laps down. Harvick stayed on the lead lap.

Logano back on track 40 laps down, Now Dale Jr. is have tire trouble, Texas is being hard on tires today.

4th yellow after Smoke mows the grass.

5th green. Keso leads. Jr. got the free pass, restarting at at the tail end. Harvick up to 11th.

Harvick is back in it - 6th place now. Stewart and Blaney are out. Logano is back again on track, 66 laps down. Hamlin is 28 down.
