Ole Humpty must have used the crystal ball when naming this thread. LOL

Big headaches for Nascar, Kenseth and Logano. I hope Matt said something over the radio about a tire going down before Joey went around the outside.

Danica is probably going to get a mention or two on Tuesday when the Brinks truck shows up collecting fines. Brinks better be bringing the Big Armored Car. :D

So for the biggest fine for evening the score is Gordon losing a Hundred Grand after running over Bowyer in the next to last race at Phoenix in 2012, which also caused the big bruhaha between crews after the race. And then there is Shrubby getting parked after he intentionally wrecked Ron Hornaday in a 2011 Texas Truck race. He was parked for the following Nationwide and Cup races the same weekend.

So Nascar has dealt with this kind of thing before, but they seem to take no standard action. Tuesday will be an interesting day to say the least.

FL results are in and the Admiral beat all of us. I have to ask her what she wants for for breakfast tomorrow when I present the :first: on the breakfast bed tray. This is her first win of the year - Just like Gordon who put her over the top.

In the overall race FLACowboy bumped his lead to 325 over 64osby. Only 3 races to go before The big one is handed out. Does Texas have BBQ ribs and sauce? I seem to remember smoking a few pounds and chowing down more than once when I lived down there. :rolleyes:

Off to Texas with all three major series, Cup, X-Men and Trucks. Will Matt Kenseth be with us? Penalties to be announced later today.

Over 61% in an NBC Sports poll say do nothing. Myself - I agree. Nascar says "go at it boys" because it's good for ratings and then this happens. It was OK for Joey to run Matt off the track in Kansas because it was "Just Racin'. Well guess what? Sunday was "Just Racin'" too! You can't have your cake and eat it too Nascar.

Finally Nascar speaks;

Daytona Beach, Florida (November 3, 2015) -- Matt Kenseth , the driver of the No. 20 car, has been penalized for an infraction that occurred during the Nov. 1 race at Martinsville Speedway. This is a Behavioral Penalty(Sections 12.1, 12.8).Kenseth has been suspended from NASCAR through the completion of the next two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship events and placed on NASCAR probation for a six-month period following issuance of the penalty notice.

"Based upon our extensive review, we have concluded that the No. 20 car driver, who is no longer in the Chase, intentionally wrecked the No. 22 car driver, a Chase-eligible competitor who was leading the race at the time,"said Steve O'Donnell, NASCAR executive vice president and chief racing development officer. "The No. 20 car was nine laps down, and eliminated the No. 22 car's opportunity to continue to compete in the race.

"Additionally, we factored aspects of safety into our decision, and also the fact that the new Chase elimination format puts a premium on each and every race. These actions have no place in NASCAR."

? Danica Patrick, the driver of the No. 10 car, has been penalized for an infraction that also took place during the Nov. 1 race at Martinsville Speedway. This is a Behavioral Penalty (Sections 12.1, 12.8). Patrick has been fined $50,000, assessed with the loss of 25 series championship driver points and placed on NASCAR probation through Dec. 31.

So Matt sits until Homestead.
