With the official results posted, we have a winner. 64osby squeezed around QC on the G-W-C finish and pulled ahead for the :first: . This is his 8th win and ties FlaCowboy for the most wins so far. Congrats, 64.

On the overall side, Cowboy is still leading, but 64 cut the lead to 160 points. Are we having a horse race?

Next up is Talladega with Cup and Trucks racing. X-Men show up again at Texas.

Jr. Does not have anything to really worry about, his legacy has been wrote and last I heard, he worth over 400 Million dollars, will be starting a new X-man team for next year, is getting married, what else does he really need to do, a Cup would be icing on the cake for him!

Unfortunately, I don't believe the new chase rules benefit many of the older drivers who have been around since the Winston days. I honestly enjoyed it more when the points won the cup like it did for the King and the Intimidator, but I guess we all have to change with the times.

i kinda like the chase but agree it benefits some more than others. I hated it 15 years ago when the champ was decided with 3 races left...unless it was Earnhardt
