Somebody needs to send Kevin one of those golden shovels, cause he is in a deep hole!

He might need to borrow one of those Cat D9s to fill the hole in!

I think Harvick's team needs to invest in some new solar calculators.

I say two poor crew decisions in the Chase races have put Harvick in this hole or Harvick is being hard-headed and not listening to the CC.

so my thoughts are denny had an 'issue' so matt could lock in his place in the next round? i don't have an issue with that but that was my first thought as soon as he backed off

After reviewing all restarts, tire changes and ride heights, Nascar has issued the official results for New Hampshire.

QC passed all inspections and owns this :first: for winning this week's FL race. He has 4 mantle dust-catchers or doorstops so far this year. Congrats QC.

In the overall standings, FlaCowboy lost some to 64osby. His lead is now at 285 after losing 65 points.

Off to Dover for the final race of the Challenger Round. After Sunday four Chasers fall out of the ring.

I'm surprised no-one has mention about Tony leaving after next year. Rumor has it that Boyer will replace him...

I don't do new news until tomorrow. LOL You know - Yesterday's news tomorrow.

HScott is supposedly back on the burner for Bowyer to hang on to until Smoke retires next year - If that's what tomorrows news conference is about. I read that Smoke wanted Larson to take over the 14, but he signed with Ganassi until 2017 and it hasn't been said if that means the end of the 2016 season or includes 2017. It would seem Larson would still be able to drive for SHR if he is contracted with Ganassi through 2016.

A younger driver would be better for SHR and I think Larson is going to a mover, he's showed some stuff this past year.

I too heard Larson was the first choice. Boyer is not exactly a you man. I think soon every year drivers will be retiring. Jr isn't exactly young either...

I heard that Tony announced they are signing Clint for 2017 to drive the 14 car, that was reported by Tony in a short news blip this morning. I suspect you are right that JR will be retiring in the next 2 to 3 years as well and I can't quite figure out what Jimmy is going to do, but I believe he still has a few good years in him and he just signed a new deal with Hendricks that covers the next couple of years. I have heard rumors that Michael is trying real hard to put a team back together, but with his troubles, right now nobody is taking the bait, so the shop and all of the tools are still on the market.

Dale Jr. has dropped the R word a few times this year.

i had thought clint might end up as truex's teammate. might still happen for next year. but i agree larson is an up-and-comer. i think he will be a hot commodity in the next few years. i doubt he gets there with ganassi though. i think they are just too far down the ladder to compete with the big dogs. IMO he would have been further ahead with SHR

I don't know about Larson, he has his moments of shining, but he is still real young and makes stupid mistakes like most younger drivers do, Ganassi has always been a good 2nd tier team in Nascar and has been competitive in years past, of course we all know that Ganassi racing recognizes talent, look at what his other venues have been able to accomplish. I just can't make my mind up about Larson, like I say, some weeks he shows promise and then the next weeks he starts acting very irresponsible, like staying up at a dirt track race until 4 am and then having to race at noon, after flying back on the red eye. Time will tell.

Thanks guys. I thought I was really going to suck with Harvick and the 41 both running out of fuel. On to Dover. It looks like Harvick is going to have to win.
