Truex lost the race with the bad wheel, I think.

So that's why he pitted, I was there and just couldn't understand why he did that. Was to loud to hear why.

They showed the wheel after the pit stop and one of the lug nuts cut into the wheel and caused a crack. How that happened - :noidea:.

They showed yesterday, that is was something that has never happened before, one of the small headed spacer plate screws broke and landed on the top of the hub and was crushed between the wheel and the hub not allowing it to sit flush to the hub.

The quick in-pit report talked about something between the wheel and hub, but I didn't catch what they were talking about. With the Hamlin spin and a broken hub screw - An odd race day.
