I agree

Thanks guys
As for the tires...they had the same compound tires from last year. NASCAR allowed the teams to make changes in the camber which caused most of the issues today.

Yeah but it sure looked to me like the racetrack is ready for a new surface, and a few bumps need to be worked out as well.

I'm not too sure the tires (Goodyear) are keeping up with the cars. With more camber, stress is increased on the tires. I think it was mostly rears that popped and rear camber is what was changed according to what's his face (a complete blank on his name) with the digital car.

I listen to the radio broadcast of the races and one of the things they mentioned today is that some of the tires coming off the cars had visible cracks in the sidewalls, I think this lends credibility to your thoughts.....

If you think about it, what they do to the suspension is exactly what we try to eliminate on trailers. The rear of one of these cars has both camber and caster tweaked into the rear housing so the tires don't track straight or vertical. I wore out a set of trailer tires in less than 500 miles with a slightly pretzeled axle. And I never went near the speeds or loads they do (well ), in fact I kinda ***** foot when I'm towing.

Oh yeah, I always laugh at people who talk about how NASCAR is the easiest of auto racing, all they do is turn left blah blah blah...

I worked as a crew member on a touring Super Late Model team for three years, if those idiots ever knew just how much you can change in those cars...
