Just playing around with a box of parts I picked up through various deals over the last couple of years and decided to put them together for a run and close retro M16A1 rifle, of course, this one is a semi auto version and it is about a 1972-1975 rendition of one our famous infantry guns. I bet even some of you guys carried something similar back in the day, I know I did.

Does it have a 1:12 or 1:7 barrel? Most of my time was spent with the A3. One of my assignment was as a firing line coach. The course of fire for the quals varied depending which variant was used.

It is a 1/12 barrel, I am quite please with it, if I do my job it does its job, I can hold MOA with it, I carried the A1 and the A2 when I was in the service, one of my favorites was the Commando, which was the shorty version and I actually was fond of the A2 with the 3 round burst.
