Re: my first post need some motivation
I like the Fun Governor and Warden!
Sailfish, I feel you're pain bud, DO NOT loose sleep over this or let it wreck you're health (read heartburn). I got lucky and learned from my dad who went through exactly what you did. He was at the lake with the boat after purchase when my brother turned and looked at the motor. "Dad, is the motor supposed to be shaking like that?"
Needless to say, he had a bad transom that was beyond rotten. It was a miracle that the motor didn't fall right off. They are lucky they were not stranded out in the water. Full deck, stringer, and transom repair and then in the end, they goofed the foam install and the boat ended up with a 10-15 degree list.
Correct me if I am wrong guys, but those are engineered stringers, since they are hollow. And you're boat is going to be a dream to put back. I am still grinding after starting 2 months ago (Heat here in Phoenix is murder, have to work early and in that bunny suit, can't do more than an hour) You will be up an running in no time.
Great looking boat, would love to have a Ranger. Maybe one will become part of my MBS future!
Welcome aboard! Keep the pics coming, we all fiend for 'em.:joyous:
