My first little Merc, what is it?

Normally I deal with the E/J motors because that's all you find around here, but today I happened to find a little-bitty Mercury. I'm guessing it's something under 5hp. (I've already tried the search function, but didn't find anything on it since I don't know what it is exactly. )

Like I said, I'm totally unfamiliar with Mercury and I don't have a clue as to what she is. Could someone please tell me what year and size it is, plus what fuel mixture it needs? Are there any common problems I should know about?

I really like this little motor and I'll be keeping it for a trolling motor on my own boat once I find another hood/shroud for it. Mine was missing when I got it.

The only number I can find on it is this: 6168819

Thank you in advance for any help.

Thanks for the quick response! Here's a picture of one I found on eaby with the same chassis mine has. I don't know if the hood shown is like the one mine was originally equipped with or not though.

It's a 1982 3.6 HP by the serial numbers if it's the same model thats in the picture and would be a 1 cyl. with FWD and neutral no REV

thanks, Bob for the CMA, thought it looked small for a 7.5.
