Yes I did the rebuild kit with gaskets. I pulled the screws to access the orifices and cleaned them out and also replaced the floats and float valves. I didn’t pop any of the freeze plug looking things to replace them or what’s inside.
I’m just curious if the orifices I have pointed out are in face the intermediate ones. Then I’ll try removing them per the bulletin to see if that helps. The previous owner did state that it had hesitation on acceleration when he used it back when it “ran good”.

Another question I have is about the tanks. I noticed the build pressure when sitting due to temperature change and whatnot...do they vent to prevent a vacuum condition?...that would make it harder for the fuel pump to draw fuel?

Are you referring to a storage tank or the one hooked-up to your motor? The latter should be vented to atmosphere.

Usually the hesitation has to do with proper link and sync of the throttle linkage to the timing advance. There's a procedure for the process on every motor. My 115 Merc has a crazy procedure with feeler gauges and such but it runs great now afterward. Then there the air idle settings too.

Got her running good. The top and bottom carburetors were pretty clean but the middle looked like had water in the gas and sat a few years. I managed to find a new old stock OEM carburetor on marine engine.com (it was the last one), slapped that baby on and now she screams on the water 🙂

I did have to replace all the fuel lines because they all seeped gas-turns out the previous owner had replaced it before using 1/4” gas line instead of the 5/32” required so replaced the plastic tees with brass and used stainless screw type hose clamps instead of zip ties.
