Re: Musky spinners

JB my friend we are not getting older the hardware is just heavier. Heaving that lumber is bye gone days for me..About one hour and color me gone. Wouldn't be nice to just have a fifty plus on your line just once..But still i would let it go for it to hit anothers line at another time..Btw that fury of yours will be getting a little bigger if its ok with you..
Makn one with same colors but with larger body and blade..Its a nice color array for the gator.. Let me know about the one I sent you..it trolls real well...

Muskie you go ahead and bring those 2x4s on down here and I'll take that Cyclops and out fish you :D You forget one thing these gators down here aren't pressured like they are up (nauth) :D I have found a little creek that feeds between two humps that I ain't gonna show you until the last day.
BTW Go ahead and catch that 50 incher and I'll catch two 40 inchers and lay them side by side and it will be bigger then yours :D
Mellow you ought to come down and we will put him to the test. Muskie I am looking forward to out outing and hopefully we won't have to dress like eskimos.

Re: Musky spinners

Man this thread has me drooling. Had my first follow with a fellow iboater last year, and right know I can't wait for my first fish. I was warned before my first cast, I understood the implications, yet I did it anyway. Now all I need is a fish to comlete the addiction. Then I can also go on the ultimate lure collection expidition. This is the year, Lets roll!!

Re: Musky spinners

I tried to warn Neaumans last year about the dangers of Seeing a follow or catching the warrior. Bubbakats wife had to take his plastic away and I am getting the blame.

Mark these dates down. Will be up north(temp. or perm.)from 6/12 to 6/27. So far EuroLarva,Muskyone, and of course my northern fishn bud Neaumans hopefully will meet at the homestead and enjoy some success in the hunt..

Plenty of room for anyone wanting to do a fly in for a few days. I don't mention other fins here but Walleye, giant Perch, black crappie, large mouth bass, and 1 lb plus rock bass also frequent my line up north.

Can't believe you won't share Bubbakat. Here I was going to give you a copy of my recorded tape after I get back from the Musky show tomorrow. Six hours of seminars given by the top Esox hunters in North America. For two years now I have been trying to get JB to join us. So how about it JB...There always is a seat in my boat for you..

Re: Musky spinners

gonfishn, sounds like you and me fish for the gators about the same way. Troll the big stuff and make 'em mad! It is amazing the difference between a 40" and a 50" gator! Shucks, it is amazing the dif between a 40" and a 45"er! They get so massive so quickly, and so much stronger! When really serious will even break out the deep sea rods (or should I say pool cues). A 45-50"er will bend one of them like a bass on an ultralight! When trolling, after the hook set it will usually feel like a big ole log that you snagged, but it came loose and your are cranking it in. Except the log will start moving sideways. However, when the gator sees the boat, Katie bar the door, now you have a fight on your hands!

Aw man, look what you done gone and did - I am salivating all over the keyboard! I ain't gonna get home to see any of them gators for a long time! :(
