I'll try to get a few photos up at some point, but I am finally getting some work done on a couple of my projects.

Project #1 is an investment boat I picked up last fall for $50 at an auction. It's a 1982 Sea Sprite in need of some vinyl work and a thorough cleaning, as well as finishing assembly of the 90hp Johnson for the transom. Anyone know of a really good cleaner for really dirty, mildewed vinyl? Hoping to have it ready by spring so I can sell it in the paper, which should provide seed money for a later model motor for...

Project #2 is the 18-foot Starcraft American I picked up about a year ago. Still nibbling away at it, almost have the deck ready to come off so I can attack the transom, stringers and floor issues. Those dang steel screws are a pain in the hind-quarters to remove. They used them all around the deck/hull seam and they're all too rusted to hook up with a screwdriver. I've been drilling them out one at a time and broke two "good" drill bits so far.

- Scott

Soft Scrub and a 3M pad cleans vinyl fast.
