Just bought a 07 Kennedy Super Sport pontoon, and the remote control is mounted on the left side of the console. Any tips/suggestions for moving it to the right hand side? I don't see a model number, but it looks similar to this: mercury-mariner-remote-control-1430-p.jpg

Second question: the ignition/choke switch. Can it be moved to a standalone key on the console, or is it best left on the quicksilver remote control? Just a little hard to get to is all in its current location.

Thanks for all the help, excited to be a first-time pontooner!

Its easy to move the locations, and its better to leave the ING switch in the controller.

I would mount a piece of Starboard or similar to the outside railing and attach the remote control to that. Many are set up like that...
