I intend to put two 50 hp Johnsons on a 22' flat bottomed fishing skiff. How far apart should they be? What is the proper measurement center to center of the props?

The flat bottom makes it easy. Just whatever clearance needed to allow the engines to turn all the way-each way.

The farther they are apart, the better control you will have at slow speeds-docking etc. Very important on a flat bottom boat.

What about the alignment in this case? I've heard both a few degrees toe-in and and a few degrees toe-out. I can understand paralell, but...
Which is right the way and why?

/Bear
