I have that little aft deck sump area where the plug goes in the transom, It seems like the pump would have to be a very small one to fit the recess, and rather than installing a thru hull fitting would it be ok to just run the discharge up into the motor wet well? Anybody have one in your MFG to maybe give me some specifics? Thanks.

I use a little bilge pump (wally world special) and use the 1" hose to discharge out over the transom . I don't have much stock mfg parts:redface:
i mounted a nylon block to center alu stringer and mounted the pump bracket to that .. peter

Went and bought one at Wallyworld too, it's an atwood 450GPM maybe too small but way better than a soup can. anyhow it looks like velcro might be the ticket for me, it sets in the little trough pretty good.
Aluminum stringers you say? on your MFG!
I looked at the emblems on the side of you hull, those are really cool, my 67 originally had ones just like that but one was missing and the other broken pieces, they probably got dock rub damaged due to the location, anyhow your lucky to still have them, or are those an aftermarket repro?

Hi a70e ! - I guess "stringers " are the wrong term , but my oxford has an aluninun I beam front to back over the keel , and 2 c channels each side over the smaller keelsons . The die pressed mfg's had their fiberglass stringers built into the hull .
I got 2 qupck picts of my pump for you . peter

---Oh the emblems are the originals but were in terrible shape so I wire brushed , filled , sanded and painted them .
