I have an old Motorguide 3, white, foot controlled trolling motor. The bearing located about halfway down the shaft needs replacing. Where can I find this bearing assembly?
It may still be available from Motorguide. I adapted the lower bearing assembly from my old OMC to my Brute 750. It worked out pretty good actually. I inverted and re-used the original metal cuff below the OMC assembly because it tightened up better on the shaft.

No, I haven,t found the bearing assembly yet. I have been in contact via email, with a Ben Hollingsworth who says he may be able to help me by phone , but I haven't called him yet.
Get to mercury's web site and go to the parts section. Type in your serial number and you should get a parts breakdown and possibly be able to order it right there!
