i have a 1991 mercruiser i/o 2 stroke 4 cylinder 125hp L drive 2100 maxum runabout. the motor started fine in my driveway after the winter break. my first trip out the motor wouldnt start it really labored to turn over. it sounded like it didnt have enough power, but i was turning 12-14 volts on two new batteries. i put a new starter on it this week and that didnt help. i took the plugs out which helped the motor turn more freely, but had the same problem with the plugs back in. any ideas?
