Hi can someone help me, I have a 2003 mercury 125 saltwater I turn my treeing wheel to the right and now the motor is stuck, I turn the wheel either way and the motor don’t move, I can’t even move it with my hands. Any suggestions thank you
Is your steering wheel still able to turn?
The steering cable is most likely either pinched, busted, or seized. Start by removing the steering cable from the engine. See if the motor now turns both ways by hand. Then you can play with the steering wheel and see if the shaft on steering cable extends and closes when you turn the wheel.
