motor slugish

i have a 1991 m140a, it has very little get up and go from the start. the motor revs good then after about 10 seconds it will get on plane and run ok. it ran great with the old prop, replaced with the same dia and pitch now seems to run worst than before, no binding on the shaft. changed the fuel water separator still runs the same. any ideas on what to do? the motor is on a 18.5' sea pro cc

I am not familiar with the larger Tohatsu/Nissans, but see that you are in the same "town" as Tohatsu Guru, who posts here. He should be able to help you out.
