I have a 1976 15hp evinrude and i just had the carb cleaned. It has been running great. But the last few trips out it would start right away but would only idle for about 2 minutes and when it would die. Also while running it in gear it would only run for about 2 minutes. I found out that if I keep pumping to prime bulb on the gas line the motor would run fine. I'm thinking that I might have a small leak in my gas line but Im not sure and i don't know how to check for one.

I'm not a pro like alot of the guys on here, however that being said. What your describing is more then likely a fuel supply problem. Do you Smell fuel when squeezing the primer bulb with the motor off. I mean stronger then normal? also if there is a crack or hole in the fuel line from your tank when squeezing the bulb you can hear/see the fuel spray out of it. May want to check that newly cleaned carb, for blockages. Filter, and pump diaphrams are good places to start. Old hats at this please correct me if I am wrong but sounds to me like the motor is fuel starved. May want to check the float as well if its stuck it could be restricting the fuel flow as well. HTH

First check whether the tank has a vent, and if so, that it's opened. If you suspect a leak then the most likely place would be at the connectors. Disconnect them, cut off a little bit of fuel line, and reconnect. Use only marine grade hose clamps; no zip ties they won't cut it.

When you have to pump the bulb to keep it running is the bulb squeezed flat or is it just empty of fuel?

When I pump it up the bulb is just empty not flat. Thanks alot
