I have a 65, 33hp evinrude outboard. When in foward gear it pops from center to one side about every second.2nd) this past saturday, out on the lake,it got sudden burst of energy(speed). I looked at the gas tank and it was almost empty. What would have caused this burst of engery and speed and what causes my motor to jump as if jumping in and out of gear as if on a timer?
