Motor on Pontoon.

Well I'm going to be building https://www.pinterest.com/pin/393290979940372827/ im just curious if i would be able to put a motor on it at all ? could i do like a 6.5hp gocart motor and make a long or short tail motor? i also have access to getting other HP motors if you guys think could handle more sorry if this seems stupid but id like to be able to get around easy on it since cant really transport it out to the chill area since its so large

Are you talking about that raft with hammocks? If so, how far do you want to move it? How often will you want to move it? Will people be coming and going to it? What's the water like where you want to use it? Small lake? Big lake with waves? River? .... Will you leave it in the water year round or have to launch and retrieve it from time to time? ...... Turning a raft into a boat requires a lot more than adding a motor. It might be better to use a small boat with an outboard motor to tow it where you want it.

Might be fun to mess with if you have the inclination, but I don't see much coming from the project. If you're determined, I'd try and sell that "go cart motor" and try and track down an affordable (old) outboard motor.
