Motor not pumping water

I have a 1988 125hp Force which is not pumping water. Other than the impeller is there anything else to check. Also, how difficult to remove the lower unit and is there anything special to watch for??

Was it pumping and quit?

What does your manual say about lower unit removal? You have one to help keep an older motor running.

Think its just an impeler fault.check it.the lover unit on my yamaha has 6 bolts.its not complicated.just unscrew the bolts and pull the lover unit down.then check all holes and pipes for water.
