motor hasn't ran in 5 years

I just bought a 1995 merc 150 XRi -mfi and oil injected. It was a steal but it hasn't been run in 5 years. Any advice on how to condition it. I'm going to replace water pump, t stats, fuel pump. Should I run an oil mix with the first tank of gas in case the oil pump is inop? What about head gaskets? Thanks - Justin

You might have to clean the carbs too. The oil can't hurt for test purposes.<br /><br />-W
