So the Smart Tabs are installed and all of our seats and seat backs have been completely re-double stitched so now we're ready to take the boat out again.

We've been out twice so we're still learning and I've got a few questions:

1. There are two drain plugs on the boat... I believe the metal plug is the bilge plug which is connected to the easy oil drain system. I believe the plastic plug is the transom drain plug. Please correct me if I am wrong. So far I've just been plugging and unplugging the black plastic drain plug. It seems like some water stays in the bottom of the transom... should I be unplugging both plugs every time?

2. When do I use the bilge? How do I use the bilge? So far the only switch I use on my Q4 dash is "Master Power" so I can turn the radio on. I assume I need to use the bilge if I get a bunch of water in the rear engine compartment but so far that has not happened.

The blower has a direct power source at all times. You need the master switch on to be able to use the other switches, including the bilge. If equiped with an accessory outlet this is switched thru the master. You should only have to pull the plastic plug at the transom for drain. As you said the only purpose of the brass plug is to access the oil drain hose. Some water will remain at the bilge area.
