More gas problems.

Got an evinrude 35 hp, 1981 model. The primer bulb won't stay tight at WOT. It is on a stick steer, and when i'm on wot it runs fin e for a little bit than it "jooks" and rund fine again. My buddy in the back of the boat had to keep priming it, and it ran fine when he did. Just asking before i buy a new one. Same thing is happening on my 112 johnson on my pontoon.

There is no air/gas leaks that I know of, I took out all the quick connects and straight barbed the gas lines.

After the motor is running, the bulb has no function. Squeezing the bulb to stay running is an sign of a fuel pump needing a rebuild.

What have you done so far?

I have not done anything so far. I just got this boat a couple months ago
I put a new fuel line on it. I tried to use my old metal tank but it kept pushing gas out the connector. So i switched back and straight wired it. (gas hose)
