HI all
Have a 9.9 johnson that has served me well for a number of years .. but I bought it second hand ... now eventually the power pack has died ... there are apparently at least four different power packs for 9.9, so I need a year to get the right one.
Can anyone help please .. I have tried the codes but that just confused me completely .
The plate on the transom says " J10RERE" and the serial number says "Go3552956 USA"
I THINK it is a 94... as it certainly isnt a 49 lol. It is a white motor with rounded sort of cover ...
Any help greatly appreciated ... was good reliable motor

Ignore the last letter

The previous two give you the year E = 9 and R = 4 so a 1994 model as you figured out for yourself.
The first R indicates that it is a rope start model
