Model or year of evinrude

A buddy's dad died and he found this motor in the barn said he remembered him using it and wants me to try to get it running but I can,t find the model # and all the local marine shops tell me without it or the year I can,t get any parts. anyway it is a<br />Evinrude Fastwin serial# 15016-01277<br />thanks for any help

Hi Kybuck Your motor is a 1956 15 hp. The<br />first five numbers in the model number.<br />Regards Tom

Thanks alot boatmotor all the marine shops told me they couldn't find out anything with just the serial # glad I found this bb.
