Model and Year of old Evinrude

have and old manual start Evinrude but the only numbers i can find are the following:
5522/10550 does anybody know if these are model or serial numbers?

5522 is the model number, Mandi.

It is a 1961 Evinrude 5.5hp
Fuel mix is 24:1, 87 octane and TC-W3 outboard oil.
Spark plugs are Champion J4C gapped at .030"
Set points at .020"

Looks like the "5522" is a model number, which would be a 1961 5.5hp Evinrude. They are very quiet and dependable, but need to be run with a 24:1 gasil mixture. If the motor is new to you or hasnt been run in awhile I suggest that you read "awakening a sleeping outboard" in the FAQ section above this one. Lots of helpful tips there.
