Mixing Epoxy with Polyester

I am about to acquire a 1979 Procraft that needs some fiberglass work. I am quite sure the boat was built with Polyester resin. Does anyone know if you can mix Epoxy with Polyester?

Actually mixing the resins together, NO!<br /><br />You can use epoxy to make repairs to boats construced of polyester, but not the other way around.. Epoxy resin will stick to cured polyester, but polyester resin won't stick to cured epoxy..
