In the process of replacing my 4.3 GL PEFS power steering actuator I removed engine parts for access. After installation I found this loose cable and connector hanging behind the engine. The engine compartment is extremely tight and can't find where it goes. The wire colors are red blue & tan. Please help!

Re: Misplaced Connector

I've been back to the boat (between the thunderstorms) and verified I have power to the 10A relay fuse from the 50A breaker. The connector I show in this thread also has 12V power. The trim/tilt wiring diagram Don posted on 7/2/11 shows connector B to the trim switch and it sure looks like the one I posted. If this is correct, there has to be a mating male connector to the remote control. I'll be 78 tomorrow and perhaps it's showing! Thanks, Alan

Re: Misplaced Connector

Resoved. Traced line from remote to engine compartment. Found connector stuck and hidden between exhaust bellows and power steering actuator.
