Minor gelcoat repair question.

Hello Everyone,

Last season I over tightened my boat cover and one of the snaps pull away from the gelcoat. What would be the best way to re-affix the snap to the hull. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Ayuh,.. Fill the hole with Marine-tex, redrill, 'n reattach the snap...

Can you reach the back side of said snap ? If so then they sell through bolt snaps ( Which I would recommend ).

The through snap bolts may be the way to go. West marine has them. I'm going to check for a lower price elsewhere.
