I have a 2000 4stroke 40 hp yamaha. I changed the foot oil and there was a very little bit of milky looking oil came out. I would say 5% by volume.
The rest of the oil looked dark but consistant in color, and no solids.
I plan on running a couple of times and changing it again to see if in fact I have a leaking seal.
How expensive is this repair? What are the hours to change the seals?
