Mid section water tube replacement

Can the mid section water tube be replaced from the bottom after foot removal on a 140 89 evinrude or does it require power head removal?

are you saying it is possible to remove and replace from the bottom ?

yes, a lot of times it will come out with the lower unit. tilt the motor all the way up. get a good flash light, to put it back in.
