however mullet boats and crab boats look whaler-esque and the outboard is mounted up-high in the middle of the boat with a forward mounted console so the prop goes down the tunnel to allow the boat to travel in only 4-6" of water to get to where the mullet are in the tide pools and to bring in nets and crab pots easy.
