Microsoft really does s**k!!

I recently bought a Lenovo touchpad for the Mrs. It uses the android 4.1 jellybean OS. All indications, that I can find, are that she cannot access her Live.com Email from it. This is inexcusable!

Indeed but it doesn't have anything to do with setting up Live.com on the Lenovo touchpad.

Boom, you really need to take a bit of time and search for those things you need, there is a Live.com app for android that works fine for live.com.

You got to stop thinking about lenovo and start thinking about android!

The lenovo has nothing to do with this, it is a google operating system that is run on millions of tablets and phones world wide, stop searching for lenovo stuff and start looking for android stuff!

Inexcusable? You're complaining about not being able to use a free service (provided by Microsoft) on some hippieware operating system?

Well now that is an interesting way to describe one of the largest operation systems in the world, when you take into account the number of phones as well as tablets operating on android, you would be very surprised at how many are out there!

Spank, spank! I did MT, I really did! :yield: I included Android in all my searches. I came up with more conflicting statements as to whether you could or whether you couldn't. Some said yes, some said no. I found all kinds of recommendations for all the usual setting choices and suggested port choices (none of which worked) but never found any info on an APP.

...btw, I am glad you reminded me about the printer. I never did follow through with that. Seems that lately I am always juggling a dozen different little projects, the seemingly simplest of them never seem to get done in one setting. :juggle: Even this last week, I started to mow the front lawn (got three passes made), then got interupted. I didn't finally finish it for three days. The projects (many in motion) got so piled up I finally had to write them all down on a list to get them out of my head.. Now I have another two to add to it. :facepalm:

....oh and btw, I didn't need no stinkin APP to get my Reagan.com Email on my Android phone! :tongue-new:

When you buy a new computer, you pay for the operating system, just as you do when you buy an android device, I still remember the days when you could download thousands of programs for free for windows, it is just another operating system, just like windows was so many years ago.

I have Gmail and AOL and I haven't had a problem in years. The problem is unrealistic expectations.

....and what would those unrealistic expectations be, JB? That one cannot readily access one of the most hyped email servers using one of the most widespread smart communication operating systems? I do not think that to be an unrealistic expectation!
