MFG Date of 6HP Evinrude

Need some help folks. Granddaughters bought me a 6HP Evinrude Fisherman off Ebay that just happens to be in need of TLC before it will even run. Don't have the heart to tell them it was a "bad" deal, so I'm faced with making it run. But I need the year in order to start hunting down parts..... SN is: 6302SJ 02925

Once you get it running, you'll be pleased. I have a 1970 6 hp Jonson which is essentially the same motor. They're good on fuel, will push a 12 or 14 ft. rowboat right along, and will troll all day. Good luck.
